Materials used to wrap a vehicle are designed specifically for that purpose. A high quality wrap like one done by Traffic Graffics will be done using two layers of vinyl
laminated together. Of course, all of the printing must be done on a material that can be printed on. Because of its printable nature, this product is not especially
durable all by itself. The printed vinyl layer also contains the special adhesive system that adheres the wrap to the surface. Once printed, it must have a protective
layer called an overlaminate applied to it. This overlaminate protects the underlying surface and keeps it looking great for years.
Traffic Graffics is proud to say that we use only the highest quality materials in our wraps. Most of our wraps are done with 3M IJ180C vinyl. Our experience has shown that
this is a very reliable product that will perform consistently.

We use 3M 8518 overlaminate which according to the manufacturer:
8518 provides a glossy "paint-like" finish optimized for the fast-growing vehicle wrap market. Its superior conformability characteristics ensure fast and easy application in
deep channels and over complex curves.
Overlaminate 8518 is designed specifically for use with digitally printed graphics and has limited warranty coverage
under the 3M Performance Guarantee.

Most of our vinyl letters are cut from Oracal 651 colored vinyl which has proven to be somewhat of an industry standard for top quality self adhesive vinyl.
We also use other 3M products as well as other brands when a particular application calls for it, but at no time do we use anything less than top quality.
A wrap is a significant investment and we will not risk our customer's investment by using inferior products.
